Returning Home
- Please ensure that you take all of your belongings home, including any medications kept with the nurses for dispensing, and x-rays.
- The discharge date will be determined by Dr Kulisiewicz and may vary from one patient to the next. It is dependant on factors such as: a patient’s ability to mobilise independently, adequate pain control, and the level of available support at home. Various unforeseen factors may result in the delay of a patient’s discharge.
- Please ensure that you have arranged for someone to take you home. Furthermore, it is important that someone is available to stay with you for the first few nights while you put a routine in place.
